Family and opportunities are waiting for you abroad, but before you can go you have to apply for a visa at the German embassy in Manila. As you know embassies are strict when it comes to the compliance of their requirements. And the German embassy is certainly not an exception.
How and where can I apply for my German Visa?
The German Embassy Manila is located at the 25/F Tower 2, RCBC Plaza, 6819 Ayala Ave, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Before you can enter the embassy on the 25th floor, you have to register in the lobby of RCBC Tower 2. When entering the embassy you have to again register and show the visitors ID you have received at the ground floor. From there you receive a number and have to wait in line in the Visa Section.
To apply for a visa you have to schedule an appointment with the German embassy. An appointment for the submission of the application can be during Monday to Thursday from 8am to 1pm.

Authentication of documents
Your personal documents, such as Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate and College Diploma, will need to be authenticated. A part of the authentication process is to have these documents translated to German. The original and German translation are an essential part of your visa application. This is where a translation provider comes in.

What do I want my translation provider to do for me?
- Use Native and Experienced Translators. When it comes to document translations, an error renders your visa application null. Only German native translators are qualified to give you a flawless translation of your documents.
- Give advice. Your time is important. Save yourself hassle and stress by choosing a company who is experienced. A translation provider has to be able to answer your questions and give you advice on how to best proceed.
- Provide Certificate of Translation and Translators Seal. It is a mandatory embassy requirement that your translation is official. For it to be official your German translation has to be accompanied by a Certificate of Translation and Translators Seal.
The tellers at the German embassy are merciless. An error in your documents or translation means that you have to schedule another appointment. Another travel to Makati. And another hour long wait at the visa section. Choosing a translation company who provides the 3 points above can help you avoid such a painful situation.
